Reselling

Cross-list from Depop to Poshmark

A Depop listing is rebuilt from the item's photos, checked once in FlipDesk, then filled into Poshmark's own form by the browser extension — with the condition grade travelling with the item.

Getting the item out of Depop

Depop has no export the extension can read yet, so the item starts from its photos: upload them and FlipDesk writes the title, the specifics and the price.

Nothing here scrapes a marketplace you are not signed in to, and nothing reads another seller’s listings. The import runs in your own browser, on your own account.

What Poshmark needs

  • Photos: Poshmark takes up to 16. If the item has more, the first 16 go, cover photo first.
  • Title: 80 characters.
  • Condition: Poshmark has its own list (NWT (New With Tags), NWOT (New Without Tags), EUC (Excellent Used Condition)…), so the condition is mapped rather than copied.
  • Price: Poshmark takes whole dollars only, so a price with cents is rounded to the nearest dollar before it is sent.
  • Size: every destination asks for its own size field. FlipDesk keeps the measurements with the item, so the size is filled from what you measured once rather than retyped.

Poshmark has no listing API for sellers. The GradeThread browser extension fills Poshmark's own listing form in your logged-in tab, and you press post.

The grade travels with the item

The listing that moves is not just words and photos. GradeThread grades the garment once on a published 1.0–10.0 scale and mints a certificate the buyer can check, and that grade rides into every channel the item is listed on — Poshmark included. It is the part a crosslisting tool cannot copy across for you, because it has nothing to copy: condition is the seller’s own word everywhere else.

Questions sellers ask

Does the listing get removed from Depop automatically?
Not unless you ask for it. Cross-listing puts the item on Poshmark while it is still up on Depop. When it sells on either one, FlipDesk ends the other listing so the same garment is not sold twice — on the channels with no API, that end runs in your own browser too.
Do my photos come across?
They come from FlipDesk rather than from Depop: upload them once and every channel is filled from that one set.
What about going the other way, Poshmark to Depop?
The same way. FlipDesk holds one catalog, so a channel is a destination and a source at the same time; nothing about the direction changes the steps.
