A GradeThread condition grade is a number from 1.0 to 10.0 for a pre-owned garment, scored from photos. It weighs five factors: Fabric Condition (30%), Structural Integrity (25%), Cosmetic Appearance (20%), Functional Elements (15%) and Cleanliness (10%). Each grade falls in one of seven named tiers: New with Tags (NWT), New without Tags (NWOT), Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair and Poor. Every grade gets a public certificate a buyer can open.
