These are vintage tall western cowboy boots with a Larry Mahan's Boot Collection label (Made in Texas), featuring navy shafts, cognac leather vamps, scalloped contrast inlay tops, multi-color scroll stitching, pull straps and stacked heels. The leather uppers look supple with no visible cracks, holes or splits, and the decorative and welt stitching appears intact. Wear is visible: the leather outsoles are grimy and worn, and the heels and sole edges are scuffed, with some chipping on the heel finish. The toes show creasing, light scuffing and a few tiny dark marks, and there is a dark scuff on the heel counter and red shaft leather. Minor fraying at the inlay edges and loose threads at the label stitching are repairable. Insole and interior odor could not be fully assessed from the photos. The Fair grade reflects sound construction and clean uppers offset by moderate sole, heel and toe wear consistent with age and use.
