A broken zipper pull tab is a Cosmetic Appearance defect if the slider still closes and holds the jacket shut — but if the slider skips teeth, won't stay closed, or has separated from the track, it's a Functional Elements failure and the grade should reflect a jacket that doesn't fully work, not just one that looks worn.
